DESCRIPTION

Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen

Upon arrival at the port or airport, you'll be greeted by your driver/guide holding a sign with your name on it. From there, you’ll start a scenic drive to Chefchaouen, a charming town nestled in the Rif Mountains of northern Morocco. Known as the "Blue City" for its distinctive blue-washed buildings, Chefchaouen is famous for its narrow streets and vibrant souks offering unique local handicrafts. Take a leisurely stroll through the medina, soaking in the sights and capturing beautiful photos of the town’s striking landscapes. You’ll spend the night in a traditional riad in the heart of the medina. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes - Explore Fez

After breakfast at your riad, you'll head towards Fez, one of the oldest and most historically significant cities in Morocco. A 4-hour drive brings you to Fez, where you will explore the city’s rich cultural heritage, starting with the Royal Palace gates and the Jewish Quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco in the 16th century. Visit the Al Qaraouine University, the oldest university in the region, the bustling Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. After a half day of exploration, you’ll spend the night in a comfortable riad. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 3: Fes to Merzouga via Ifrane, Midelt, and the Atlas Mountains

After breakfast, you’ll depart Fez and begin your journey towards Merzouga. Your route takes you through Ifrane, a mountain village known as "the Switzerland of Morocco," before continuing to Midelt. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the Middle and High Atlas mountains. Stop at the cedar forests—Morocco’s largest—where you may encounter Barbary apes. After exploring the forest, continue your journey through the scenic Tizi Ntalghamt Pass and Ziz Gorge. As you near the city of Errachidia, the landscape begins to shift toward desert terrain. Stop for lunch, then travel along the lush Ziz Valley, with panoramic views of the landscape. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, where you’ll embark on a camel trek into the dunes of Erg Chebbi for an unforgettable sunset. Spend the night in a nomadic-style camp beneath the starry desert sky. (Dinner, Bed, and Breakfast)

Day 4: Merzouga to Dades Valley via Todgha Gorges and Tinghir

Awake early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes and have your breakfast before returning to Merzouga on camelback. Meet you driver and drive through the Rissani market, then onto Tinghir and the Todgha Gorges, some of the most dramatic and narrow gorges in Morocco. Enjoy a short walk in the heart of the gorge before continuing your journey through the Dades Valley, where you'll marvel at the unique rock formations known as the "monkey toes" and the imposing kasbahs. Tonight, you'll stay in a hotel in the Dades Valley. (Breakfast, Dinner, and Bed)

Day 5: Dades to Marrakech via Ouarzazate, Ait Benhaddou, and the High Atlas

After breakfast, you’ll travel along the scenic "Route of a Thousand Kasbahs," stopping to explore the rose valley and the Skoura oasis. Continue on to Ouarzazate for a visit to the Taourirt Kasbah, the former residence of the Glaoui family, before having lunch in the city. Then, head to the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village that has served as the backdrop for many famous films. Afterward, drive through the dramatic Tizi n'Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for photo opportunities along the way. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening and check into your riad. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 6: Explore Marrakech with a Local Guide

After breakfast at your riad, spend the day exploring Marrakech, known as the "Red City." Visit the Koutoubia Mosque and Tower, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the Ben Youssef Madrasa. After lunch, explore the vibrant souks of the medina, where you can shop for traditional Moroccan crafts. Enjoy a relaxing evening in your riad. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 7: Marrakech to Casablanca

Breakfast at the Riad before departing for Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital. Upon arrival, visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosques in the country, and take a stroll along the Corniche, the city's scenic waterfront. If time allows, you can visit the Morocco Mall for shopping. Spend the night in Casablanca in a comfortable hotel. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 8: Transfer to Airport

Depending on your flight time, you will be transferred from your hotel to the airport for your departure.
